It would be great if Scriptlance had a system for programmers to enter terms of service that buyers would have to read and agree to before starting projects. This would handle issues such as warranty, working hours, etc., and would cut down on the number of disputes.

Maybe it should be something that has to be purchased so Scriptlance staff can verify the terms are reasonable.

Good idea. I typically cover these issues in the PMB so both the buyer and I know what to expect before the project starts. I keep a list of my terms and update it frequently for easy copying and pasting.

That statement remains in the Work Terms area where also are the milestones required, they have a very advanced project managing page so if there's a dispute the staff can check if the milestones required are funded, if the terms of reports are accomplished, if the initial project timeframe was reached and the deliverables aren't in place, etc.
