Due to the recent problems with PayPal India, Payoneer is offering ScriptLance customers special deals to help withdraw your funds. Payoneer, which offers programmers a debit card to easily get their hard earned money, will waive fees on ALL card loads and ALL card activations, as well as offer FREE FedEx delivery to new Indian customers, until the end of March!
About PayPal India issue: This week PayPal India decided to stop allowing personal payments to and from India. Quote:
We contacted PayPal for information and were told: Quote:
In response, we contacted Payoneer to see what they could do to help ScriptLance's Indian programmers in the mean time. They agreed to offer the above mentioned deal (the activation and load deal applies to all countries, not just India). This offer will expire Wed, March 31st, but any withdrawal requests will have to be made by Tuesday, March 30th, to qualify for the free load. We know how important PayPal is to the ScriptLance community, so we hope this info helps. Check back for more info as it becomes available.

Hi Rene,
Nice to know that you actually put in the efforts to help the ones those who are effected. Is the free load applicable only to new cards issued OR does it even apply to existing Payoneer card holders ? Cheers! |

Of course we will credit the refunded funds back to your ScriptLance account. Please contact support to notify them and include the PayPal transaction ID. Thanks.

@ Rene: Our transaction got reversed even though have Paypal Business Account.
@ Nuked24 & unnimaxx: As soon as you go to the withdrawal page in your ScripLance account, you'll find an option of 'Payoneer' there. Select it, click on continue then it will redirect you to the Payoneer registration Page, there you need to fill out the details and need to verify yourself by providing a Personal Identification Proof (Driver's License, Passport, etc.) once registration gets completed, Payoneer will start verifying your application and will reply you with a message of Approval or Disapproval of your application with in 2 days. Upon approval, your card will be dispatched to you and with in few days you will receive your MasterCard Debit Card.

The payments made by SL or any other freelance site is Business Payment and not personal payments.
PP has stated that paying for good and services is still allowed so not sure why SL and other Freelance sites can't make payments. Last edited by angilina; 02/10/2010 at 14:52. |

This shouldn't be an issue, since requests will simply move from PayPal withdrawal to Payoneer withdrawal. The total number of requests should remain similar. We have it under control.
