I've been working on an idea for some time about starting a blog/site geared towards "How to hire a freelancer".
My goal is to provide useful information and case studies (our personal experiences) for both buyers and freelancers, and to expand on the topic as needed. I've seen too many projects fall apart (thankfully usually not mine, but I have been there), and I want to do something to make it better for anyone I can. I also think it would be a great opportunity to provide insight into areas programmers and buyers never think of. I saw a good quote today: "If you think hiring professionals is expensive, try hiring amateurs". That pretty much sums it up! If you are interested in contributing to this project, please let me know. This is 100% pro bono and is only intended to make everyone more successful. I have my own test servers and will foot the hosting for the blog/site. If my post violates a rule, Mods please feel free to delete it. |

Sounds interesting!,
When I have some free time, I might type something up from a developers perspective.

I'm currently in the process of typing something up, there doesn't appear to be a Private Messaging system on the forums though, only Visitor Messages. :/
