Hello!
As it has been announced by the Payoneer that their cards will not work in Pakistan from the coming month ( so only one day is left ). And Payoneer was the only cheapest solution for us in Pakistan. Although, it is hoped that this issue will be solved but it is still hope. Will the ScriptLance do something for us in regard to this just like they did when there was a problem related to PayPal in India? The Pakistani freelancer community is disturbed due to this and other online freelancing sites are offering their clients reliefs in regard to this. So, what we can expect? Unfortunately Payoneer is the only company we work with that can be as flexible as they were during the PayPal India issue. So if Payoneer no longer supports your country, there is little we can do. Let us know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks for your quick response.
I have never used the Moneybookers. If I am given information about the Moneybookers in Pakistan by someone who has used it and how much days it take to transfer the money from ScriptLance to Moneybookers and from Moneybooker to a Bank Account. Regards Muhammad Mushrraf |

as appeared you can try to use odesk cards with payoneer.
and that card can be linked to sl account too see this thread for info http://www.odesk.com/community/node/11492 and this: May 21, 2010 Update: We are thrilled that Payoneer was able to resolve their recent challenges serving our Pakistani community. In a nutshell, Payoneer has selected a new bank and - with this shift - they will issue new cards that will be available for more types of transactions, including those in Pakistan. Payoneer will send out full information on the change to all existing card holders within the next few days. In the meanwhile, oDesk would like to assure its Pakistani users that it will continue to honor the limited free wire transfers while Payoneer transitions to the new card system. =================== May 27, 2010 Update: Yesterday, Payoneer emailed existing oDesk Debit Mastercard holders about an upcoming change in their cards. In a nutshell, as of May 31, the oDesk Debit Mastercard powered by Payoneer will no longer work in Pakistan and will cease working worldwide on July 15. As a result, all cardholders will need to order a new card from Payoneer directly. Payoneer will require Pakistani users to send a copy of their ID and a card fee -- $24.95 for new card holders, $15.00 for existing ones. New cards will be useable anywhere Mastercard is accepted – even in Pakistan Please contact Payoneer for more details. We are glad that Payoneer was able to resolve their recent challenges in serving our Pakistani community. oDesk will also continue to offer one free wire transfer per calendar month to providers in Pakistan until the end of June, when all Pakistani providers who rely on their Payoneer cards should have their new ones. |
