PayPal India Issue

It has been brought to our attention by some members that a change in PayPal India's policy may affect most Indian customers. They may not be able to make deposits or receive withdrawals from ScriptLance.

Suddenly, Paypal India has introduced a policy change which renders Paypal totally useless for small time users. As per their new policy, Paypal has stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India, which means PayPal can be used only for business transactions, that too where there’s some proof of delivery for goods or services (such as shipment tracking number/billing address or other such evidences)

We are contacting PayPal about this and will make an official annoucement soon if PayPal does not change it's new policy or offer a work-around.


It seems strange that PayPal would want to block all these Indian customers which must represent a large part of its business.
